Born in Rimouski, Québec, Daphné first earned her Master’s degree with honors from the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal in 2020, where she also received a Chamber Music Diploma in 2019. In 2023, she completed the Artist Diploma Program at the Glenn Gould School in Toronto.

Daphné has been an active participant in prestigious festival orchestras, including the National Youth Orchestra of Canada (2017, 2019) and the Orchestre de la Francophonie (2016, 2018). She currently holds the position of first violinist with Sinfonia Toronto, serves as concertmaster for the Orchestre Symphonique de l'Estuaire, and performs as a freelancer with several prominent orchestras across the Greater Toronto Area.

 

In addition to her musical expertise, Daphné is deeply passionate about body awareness and has completed over 500 hours of yoga training. After witnessing the physical and mental struggles many musicians face, she believes yoga is an invaluable complement to the musical journey. She now serves as the lead faculty member for the Vibe Ten School Yoga Teacher Training program.

Daphné finds joy in balancing her career as a violinist and teacher. When she’s not performing or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs, learning how to navigate their big feelings as they explore life in the city, one day at a time!
