Marie-Pier met Émilie at university and it was an instant musical crush that led to the creation of Trio Laval. With extreme sensitivity and great accuracy, Emilie's playing touches in a unique way. Her calm and her assurance make rehearsals with her always welcome soothing moments in the whirlwind of everyday life! Although a wonderful interpreter of classical and romantic composers, she has a touch of her own that makes her baroque interpretations particularly magical. During her years of study, Émilie distinguished herself as concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra and of the Atelier de musique baroque of the Faculty of Music of Laval University, in addition to playing as a soloist with these two sets. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in classical violin interpretation under the supervision of Richard Paré in addition to taking care of her violin students.
A word from Émilie
For me, being a part of the Collectif de la Cité means...
having the chance to shine my music in the company of talented, inspiring and passionate colleagues.
