Gabrielle started the violin at the age of 9 in a music concentration program with a string component in Laval. Passionate about her instrument, she continued her musical studies until she obtained her masters degree in classical interpretation from the University of Montreal in January 2020. Thanks to her high level of performance and the sensitivity of her playing, she received several scholarships and distinctions, including a mention of excellence awarded by the jury during her final recital, as well as the Marcel-Saucier scholarship when she won concertmaster position at the University's orchestra. During her university studies, she made her mark in the freelance world in various ensembles in Quebec, including the FILMHarmonique orchestra, the Classico Modern Orchestra, the Sinfonia de Lanaudière, and the Orchester de L'Estuaire.

 

In addition to being involved in the classical scene, Gabrielle collaborates alongside many pop music artists. In studio and on stage, she has worked alongside shows, such as Simon Leoza, Klô Pelgag, Belle Grand Fille and The Liquor Store, to name a few. Playful and extroverted by nature, her personality comes out on her instrument and in the various projects that she’s a part of.  Recently, she joined the string quintet of the Mélodie du Bonheur production directed by Gregory Charles, and will present more than 80 shows in Montreal and Quebec in 2022-2023.
